The Piano Man Jazz Club has been at the forefront of pushing live music, particularly jazz, in Delhi, since it opened its doors last year.

The concept is the brainchild of Arjun Sagar Gupta, an engineer by education and a Fulbright music scholar. The club has played the role of a much needed hub for discerning jazz lovers right in the heart of South Delhi, as a window to the vibrant jazz culture across the world. TPM Jazz Club is the first dedicated (brick and mortar) space to allow this beautiful movement to grow in a concerted yet organic manner, and in the last year has set a new standard for execution of events with its collaborative approach and ‘artists first’ philosophy.

Magnetic Fields is very proud to once again host 2 nights (15 and 16 December) with the Piano Man for discerning jazz lovers who are interested in the niche, but effervescent spirit of community that The Piano Man Jazz Club has been championing in New Delhi.

At its helm will be “living jazz encyclopaedia” Arjun Sagar Gupta a.k.a. The Piano Man himself, who has carefully curated two nights of vibrant live jazz at the festival. This year, he returns with Latination, a Latin-jazz quartet featuring Pradyumna Singh Manot (piano), Emmanuel Simon (percussion), Premjit Dutta (drums/percussion) and Bijit Bhattacharya (bass) alongside musicians like Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Kunal Netrapal, Sonic Shori and Rainer Pusch.
