Ditty

Ditty's folk-tinged songs reflect an organic and earthly quality reflecting her firm belief in music as a tool for change

Aditi Veena aka Ditty is an Indian artist currently based in Goa, India, who writes and sings earth songs. She’s an urban ecologist in the day and a musician at night. Her folk-tinged songs reflect an organic and earthly quality reflecting her firm belief in music as a tool for change.

As a singer-songwriter and poet, her performances combine music with experimental spatial experiences and have ranged from performing in small tight basements with visual projections to a walking garden concert, to a ‘Streets For Us’ busking tour in Nepal, India and Sri Lanka that explored how art can be used to transform and reclaim the streets. Ditty’s debut album, Poetry Ceylon, released in June 2019 to critical acclaim, drawing attention to her enchanting voice and her deft fingerpicking.
