Reimagine queer mythology within a fantastical realm, brought to life through surreal visuals and eccentric drag performances as part of the craft-based tech and textile installation, the 'Dragalactiq Dominion'.
"Dominion" signifies "that which is mastered or ruled"—here, this supreme force is embodied by Tushquin, a magical drag deity, an otherworldly queer figure housed within a magnificent, shrine-like cage. On either side, tall, sheer organza panels serve as screens after dark, framing the cage, which transforms into a stage on Saturday night.
'Multisensory Dispensary' synthesizes dreamlike visions and sounds, crafting a pulsating, breathing sensory landscape. Saturday night unveils a theatrical drag performance, presenting an intergalactic fairytale—a queer love story. A diverse ensemble of performing artists appears as gender-fluid cosmic beings: four drag queens, two voguers, a shimmering snake, a flying mutant, and a giant evil baby, all uniting to narrate an unprecedented tale, before joining the Sunday night celebration that is Paradise at Peacock Club.
