Sightlines Lab in Collaboration with Eyemyth

Sightlines Lab is a creative playground where Parizad D, Miss.Kotton (Caroline Stedman Mishra), Vinay Khare, MYLES, Alap Parikh, Optikbloom, and echofloat bring indigenous arts practices and sensibilities-inspired visual and digital creative expression at the festival.

Over a period of a week running up to Magnetic Fields, some of the country's most forward-thinking digital artists will work within the palace to transform spaces within the festival. The resident artists will also collaborate with Fieldlines to take the idea of residency, collaboration and performance to the next level, demonstrating a unity and confluence of music, heritage, modernity and technology.

Meena XR (XR Installation) By Alap
In 2079 India, where cultural amnesia threatens heritage, Meenakshi, a cultural cyborg, creates the Mudra Machine — a digital game for preserving ancient dance gestures through memories of her teacher through gesture recognition, 3D Printed Mudras and a printed book.

'AI-DX 2069’ By Vinay
A satirical vision of India's post-AI landscape, where the remnants of collapsed artificial intelligence systems exist as ghostly digital echoes. Drawing inspiration from the traditional practice of TV-DXing — where enthusiasts once searched for distant television signals — the work reimagines this nostalgic hobby in a future where humans scavenge for fragments of lost AI consciousness.

The Palace On The Hill By Mridul, Vinay
A heartfelt story of ambition, struggle, and friendship told from the perspective of a young boy in fictional 90s rural India. Explore ancient palace ruins, set up your garden, cook Indian food, run errands for quirky characters, and learn about your history by making art.
