Kandy Kuri started off as a freewheeling exploration of interdisciplinary interests: entangling and defamiliarizing music with poetry and the art of community building. Soon after releasing her first mix, Kandy Kuri became a fixture at house parties, local events and clubs. Building a slow, intentional community of passionate electronic music enthusiasts deepened her understanding of the genre, and her meteoric growth since is a testament to her magnetic verve and skilful ear.

With less than a year to her name, KandyKuri’s already opened for international artists like Bambounou, Cinnaman, DJ Crisps, Yung Singh, Lady Shaka etc., and has been invited to nationwide bass festivals like the Bangalore leg of Basscamp 2022.

Drawing from a wide repertoire of inspiration spanning bass/breaks/techno/percussions her sets are known for their spunk, steadying rage, and honesty.
