Mixtress features as DJ Mag’s Ones to Watch for 2022, and rightly so. She’s been pushing the hardcore and jungle agenda for years, hosting high-octane sets across the country, and weaving nostalgic tracks with a contemporary breakbeat sound. Her every-genre-under-the-sun selections haven’t gone unnoticed, with a previous residency at Balamii, a recent one with Rinse FM and an upcoming one on FM radio.

During the lockdown, latenightshopper and Fold streams led to a long list of bookings last and this year, hosting Keep Hush – a sold-out event, headlining Lobsterfest, and a series of international appearances this summer. As an advocate for fighting the imbalance of gender inequality within music, her work at Sisu and prior to that running women-only DJ workshops have formed her passion for moral and equitable change in music. She’s also part of a collective Team Woibey, which also includes fellow DJs Ell Murphy, Ohmydais and Fae. She’s an avid whosampled contributor, jazz record collector and all-around amen enthusiast.
