Marbman (a play on Marlboro man) is Bombay-based Aalhad Joshi's producer/DJ project. Indian classical music in various forms pervaded his life as Aalhad developed an affinity for musical appreciation through tabla during his childhood.

Furthering the ability to understand the nuances attached to musical expression, Marbman's early productions were a fresh addition to the lo-fi, acid and outsider house space. Besides independent releases on SoundCloud, his music was signed to New Delhi-based, Antariksh Records and Mumbai-based Nrtya. 2020 saw Marbman put his music out on Lobster Theremin (UK) & No, She Doesn't (Portugal), garnering love and appreciation from selectors like Q-Radio, Raji Rags & Lefto.
